ORKHON EMPATHY SCHOOL
Orkhon Empathy School (OES) is a private, non-profit, coeducational, day and boarding school. Located in Bayan-Undur soum, Orkhon province in Mongolia, OES has been in continuous operation since it was founded 20 years ago. Our school offers Cambridge International Curriculum to grade 6-9 and the state-approved Mongolian National Core Curriculum to grade 10-12.
We enrolled 400 students in the academic year 2019-2020 with a student-teacher ratio of 12 to 1. We offer a personalized education experience that empowers students to discover their passion. Our rigorous and respected international and national dual curriculum is implemented by an experienced faculty consisting of 32 educators, including 9 expatriate teachers from 5 different countries.
Lessons are taught in English and Mongolian. Students can also choose from elective language courses such as German, Korean, Russian, Japanese and Chinese.
Orkhon Empathy School has a 11000 square meters campus, including a student’s dormitory, a cafeteria, and a sports hall. Our purpose-built sites are supported with modern classrooms with smart boards, comfortable desks and chairs, and eco-friendly rest areas. In the academic year 2019-2020, our modern and comfortable students’ dormitory is accommodating 150 students.
Nearly 100 percent of our alumni pursue tertiary education in Mongolia and abroad. About 60 percent of them have been accepted into top universities and colleges in more than fifteen countries.
